Bakersfield, CA – (July 18th, 2010) ViDa TiNtA closed the night with a resounding cheer from the audience as they headlined at the 1st Annual Taco y Cerveza Festival taking place at The Dome in Bakersfield, California.
With an ecstatic reverberating rush to the dance floor, the cheering fans crowded the front stage and danced non-stop for about 90 minutes to the sounds of ViDa TiNtA.
ViDa TiNtA’s lead singer and rhythm guitarist Eddie Plata mesmerized the crowd with his unique style of singing, while Dario Sanchez on the Drum Set pounded an amazing assortment of beats to keep the crowd jumping.
At the other end of ViDa TiNtA, Juanito Garcia at Lead Guitar and Felix Morfin on the Bass teamed up with their musical prowess and delivered a memorable and entertaining experience for all in attendance.
ViDa TiNtA played original hits Sambo, Malos, El Cuarto, and No Hay Amor all from their first album "Ya No Hay Amor". Adding to the night’s flavor of music, ViDa TiNtA played rock en español cover favorites from popular bands Enanitos Verdes, Soda Estéreo, Caifanes, Héroes del Silencio, and Duncan Dhu.
Among the other bands in the line-up were L.A. indie bands Son Locuaz and Love Star, as well as Velorio, a well known local band from Bakersfield.
On hand to wrap up the night with an exclusive live interview to the members of ViDa TiNtA was L.A. based online radio station PigzRadio comprised of Robert Reeze, Mario 81, and Nick “The Screw” Luso.
ViDa TiNtA will next be headlining the “1st Annual Indie Rock AlterLatino Concert” with a 105 minute set at the popular Los Angeles landmark venue La Fonda Ultra Lounge located at 2501 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90057. Doors open at 8 p.m. Pre-Sale Tickets are $15 and $25 at the door. (ViDa TiNtA is expected to perform at 11 p.m.)
